Report from the San Francisco front --by Gary The crowd was easily 100k. I can't recall ever being at a protest in San Francisco that crowded. Lots of good signs in the crowd. 1) A peace sign shaped like a pretzel ...I did see a dog with a sign on it. It read "Bitches against Bush". A few guys (4 or 5) dressed up in suits, pretending to be businessmen. They told the passers-by "Don't worry, everything will be OK once the tax breaks cut in; go home, there is nothing to protest". They had fake blood on their hands and faces, and pockets filled with bloody money. Some were complaining about the cold. I'm sure you have no sympathy since it was around 58 degrees. Hell, I was in a T-shirt that said "Friends don't let friends vote Republican." Gary
