Lawyers Guild claims NATO activists 'disappeared' without warrant or charges --'Essentially these people were disappeared for more than 12 hours until we could finally locate them.' 18 May 2012 According to an interview with National Lawyers Guild (NLG) spokesman Kris Hermes, Chicago police officers raided a Bridgeport apartment complex on Wednesday evening without a valid warrant and detained up to nine people without cause. The NLG worked through the night to locate the arrested activists. They were unable to get any information from the Chicago Police Department (CPD) or even any acknowledgement that a raid had taken place.

It is increasingly obvious the U.S. Government and nations’ police intend to arrest lawful Americans—that exercise their Constitutional Right of Free Speech and Assembly. Congress confirmed America is an Police State—passing (NDAA) The Defense Authorization Act of 2012 granting U.S. Government and the President the power to—arbitrarily arrest, disappear or Indefinitely Detain Americans without probable cause or filed charges on the premise he or she is a (Belligerent). Any lawful protester, writer, speaker–anyone may now be lifted off the street by U.S. Government on the pretext they are a Belligerent.
NDAA 2012 opened the door for corrupt police; government agents and provocateurs, which there are many, to file false reports and statements to target any American for arrest or disappearance. It is apparent many Members in the House don’t represent Americans, otherwise they would not have voted down amendments to the 2013 Defense Authorization Act of 2012 that would have ensured Americans’ right to due process of law under NDAA; and have instead betrayed their oath to uphold the Constitution. Sections of NDAA 2012 are so broadly written, the U.S. Government or President may (retroactively) deem an American or group’s prior lawful behavior as (Belligerent) to order arrest or Indefinite Detention. Historical Note: the Nazi Government passed and used similar laws to NDAA to arrest, indefinitely detain, disappear and execute without probable cause—their political opposition. The Nazi Government coincidently, also confiscated the property of those they charged.
