Georgia judge is suspended after calling counterprotesters in Charlottesville 'nutcases' and 'snowflakes' and comparing them to ISIS for tearing down Confederate monuments --Georgia judge is suspended for making controversial Facebook posts --He called counter-protesters in Charlottesville 'special snowflakes' on Saturday --He also compared 'nut cases tearing down monuments' with the Islamic state --The Gwinnett County judge was suspended on Tuesday --He was the mayor of Grayson, Georgia, for more than 20 years | 15 Aug 2017 | A judge and long time politician in Gwinnett County, Georgia, was suspended after making controversial posts on Facebook about the the Charlottesville protests and Confederate monuments. On Facebook Saturday, about an hour before a counter-protester was killed, Judge Jim Hinkle labeled the Charlottesville protesters concerned about Confederate monuments 'snowflakes' and said they had 'no concept of history.' Tuesday morning he posted: 'The nut cases tearing down Confederate monuments are equivalent to ISIS destroying history.'
