G.O.P. Blocks Debate on Financial Oversight Bill

G.O.P. Blocks Debate on Financial Oversight Bill 26 Apr 2010 Senate Republicans, united in opposition to the Democrats' legislation to tighten regulation of the financial system, voted on Monday to block the start of floor debate. The vote was 57 to 41, as Democrats fell short of the 60 votes needed to cut off a filibuster of the motion to proceed to the bill. One DemocRAT, Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska, sided with Republicans apparently out of concern over a provision related to tightening the rules on derivatives trading.

The DEM self-Obamasculation has begun.

What methods exist to remove Senators and Representatives from Congress when they go against the will of the people they are supposed to be representing?  If nearly 2/3 of the country wants reform and regulation and you have elected officials forging their own apparent agenda in direct opposition to this, my question is this: Can they be recalled from office prior to the end of their term?  What would it require?
